CNN Don Lemon Interview About Modafinil and Smart Drugs

Here’s a video clip of CNN’s Don Lemon doing an interview about the effects of Modafinil, nootropics and smart drugs.

Don Lemon interviews successful internet executive Dave Asprey who tells of the increased focus and the fact that he would never have gotten through business school without modafinil.

Asprey says he has tried other smart drugs and none of them have had the effect of Provigil (the generic is called Modafinil).  He says he’s tried Adderall and believes it’s not healthy and that he feels coffee will give you the same effect.

Asprey was quizzed about the side effects and said that the side effects of modafinil, in his experience, are less risky than even Tylenol.  Asprey says that he has study groups that have looked into this and these were his findings.  He quipped that he is more concerned about the effects of Nutrasweet than he is with side effects of Modafinil.

96 Percent Of Smart Drugs Used Without A Prescription

Use of smart drugs such as modafinil have gone up almost 300% between 2015 and 2017 a study in the International Journal of Drug Policy stated in June of 2018. This informati0on is based on an international drug usage survey. The survey is done annually, anonymously and online. The survey in 2015 was taken by about 30,000 people, which the 2018 survey was taken by almost 80,000 people.

The US had the highest rate of pharmacological cognitive enhancement (PCE) among respondents. Almost 30% of American respondents to the survey say they had taken a PCE (modafinil, armodafinil, other nootropics) at least once within the preceding 12 months. This is up from 20% in the 2015 survey.

In terms of the increasing usage of nootropics, Europe was far ahead of the game with countries like France going from 3% usage to 16% and the United Kingdom from 5% in 2015 to 23 percent in 2017.

The survey went on to find that almost half of the people who used study pills like modafinil got the pills from friends, 10 percent go them from online pharmacies, 6 percent got them from family members and only 4 percent said they had actual prescriptions.

With the rise of discreet payment systems such as Bitcoin, buying Modafinil and other nootropics online are becoming the easiest, cheapest and safest way to buy nootropics.

According to this survey, only 4 percent of PCE – modafinil – nootropics users have prescriptions.

96% of the smart drugs being taken to increase cognitive performance are bought without a prescription.

In the realm of medication without prescriptions, it is thought to be much cheaper, and safer to buy your nootropics from an online pharmacy versus random people. With online pharmacies, there are support professionals to answer your questions and a company that stands behind its products.

Here’s a link to the actual survey.

Effects of Modafinil

Modafinil 200 by Sun Pharma cheap

Modafinil has been found to boost short-term memory, with strong effects on attention, in addition to almost completely blocking a person’s sense of exhaustion. Experienced users have described the focusing effects as being an extension of wakefulness. Losing the sense of fatigue produces a constant sensation of the present and after 1 or 2 hours work, users continue to feel just as fresh and can work like they had begun 10 minutes before. Less positive, however, are the reported negative consequences on people’s ability to think creatively, reducing their ability to problem solve and think outside the box. Additionally, it is worth noting that the wakefulness effects of modafinil do have their limitations; Modafinil doesn’t prevent cognitive deterioration over a longer period of sleep deprivation, while it can cause overconfidence in cognitive performance. After about 20 hours, your executive functions (abstract and creative thinking, long and short-term memory etc.) suffer as they normally would if you were sleep deprived, while you may still not feel any fatigue.

We have listed the most common effects of modafinil. Please note that everyone can be affected differently, and this is not an exhaustive list. As a rule of thumb, negative side effects of modafinil increase with higher doses while the advantages of greater alertness taper off; you may get more”awake” but most likely your performance will remain stable or decrease. Source

The effects are (from positive to negative):

Reduced social stress
Increased confidence
Improved attention in nicely rested individuals
Improved short-term memory
Increased focus

Increased urination
Increased blood pressure
Raised heart rate
* Much more common among first-time customers

Another Smart Drug User’s Experience With Modafinil

Provigil modafinil sample pack

Modafinil is not the biggest gain I have made towards peak experiences — that would be just basic exercise. It is not the biggest gain towards overall well-being, which is only a cleaner diet and very good hydration. It is not even the largest no-brainer of a nootropic, the honor of that probably goes to Piracetam.

But with that said, it’s some pretty amazing stuff.

In this post, we’ll cover:
1. The effects and subjective experience, negative and positive, of Modafinil.
2. The routine I built around taking it, through trial and error, for optimum functionality.
3. Some jumping-off points for further research.

Please note that I am not a doctor or nutritionist. I have consulted with some, and am an enthusiastic amateur. Your health is extremely precious and you need to get informed personally through thorough research, and it is absolutely worth spending the small amount of cash to consult with trained professionals if you are changing your wellbeing and medical routines.

Okay, so what is the world like on modafinil? There seems to be a whole lot of curiosity around it. Having been taking it on-and-off for a few months now and tracking my performance both objective and subjective, here is one take.

We’ll start with the downsides.

Negative Effects of Modafinil

Downside #1: My kinesthetic sense is sharper.

This actually is not a good thing, in my book. I’ve got many different nagging sports injuries, some latent harm from a motorcycle crash in Cambodia, etc.. I’m more in touch with my body and my senses are sharper on modafinil, but that really brings to the surface some otherwise acclimated latent pain. It can be distracting as I believe some of the old damage in my ribs, previously broken hands, etc.. The advantages of a larger kinesthetic sense are relatively small with what I do, feeling older accidents more acutely can be distracting. (More on how I deal with this in a moment.)

Downside #2: Same with eyesight, though this one is more of a mixed blessing.

I pick up colors, patterns, backgrounds, and details to a greater extent. I detect buildings on the horizon and more of the surroundings. It’s not such a problem in the Chaoyang District of Beijing, but I think it’d be bothersome in Tokyo or Las Vegas.

Downside #3: I lose track of time.

It’s excellent for focusing, putting your head down, and getting a lot of things done. But I really lose track of time and need to set alarms. I’ll look around and it will be 5AM, and 8PM was not that long ago. Stupid standard things, like sitting at a cafe two hours before an appointment next door. Normally no problem, on modafinil I want to set alarms things like that. I won’t take modafinil at a day stacked with an assortment of things which need to occur at specific times unless somebody else is managing my schedule.

Downside #4: Fluency of thought increases, but can easily go all over the place.

I don’t like to be on modafinil with five items on my mind. One or two, great. This necessitates a strict schedule… if there are five things and I am task switching between them, then it is very easy to fall into an intensely concentrated bout of uselessness. If I’m exploring quotes for writing, I could end up reading about Shakespeare or any military conflict for a few hours. Breaks are dangerous too — when I was acclimating used to modafinil, I definitely burned some 10-hour stretches simply playing online Chess, which would never happen not on the stuff.

I don’t want to consume anything. Normally after lifting weights, I’ll eat a salad with chicken or tuna, and then a few more plates of chicken. On modafinil, I will feel complete three-quarters of the way through the salad and have to force-eat more to find some sustainable amount of calories. Snacking on nuts slowly can help with this, but it’s actually a real problem since I almost always try to lift days I take modafinil (more on this in a minute ).

I have sometimes gotten mild headaches on the stuff. This may be due to unrelated things though — such as forgetting to eat, drink water, etc.. I’m unsure — I now carefully manage when I take modafinil and the routine around taking it and don’t get headaches anymore.

Downside #7: Long half-life and can’t-sleep-on-it requires some planning.

Sometimes I’ll be planning on doing a work stretch on modafinil, but it’ll hit early day and I hadn’t taken it yet. Then I’m in a bit of a bind. If I take it, I won’t be sleeping well until 7AM to 10AM the following day, and I will probably wake up between 11AM to 2PM pretty alert with it in my system. This might sound good, but it’s not — you have to actually plan around taking the stuff. I’d really like if it had a 4-6 hour half-life.

I like to start with the downsides of something for perspective — the majority of articles like to start with the”wonder and amazement” facets, which leaves out some important information. On modafinil, I experience greatly heightened senses, though that is not necessarily a plus (bright/neon lights could be distracting, I feel pain from old injuries). It is powerful stuff that lasts quite a long time, so needs to be seriously intended around. It’s possible to neglect eating and hydration on the stuff, which is also bad. I had headaches on it occasionally before experimentation and building a regular around it.

Positive Effects of Modafinil

It’s just gone. You don’t need to sleep on the stuff.

If you’re sleep deprived, you return to”normal and pretty good” fast, though I think that’s a small dangerous game so I don’t play it. Rather, I try to take modafinil when I am on a reasonable amount of sleep, which leads to a prolonged and stable much-increased evaluation of energy and alertness.

The mechanism of action for modafinil is not fully understood (which is always troubling to me when I’m researching something; once I did lots of research on this one, I decided to go for it anyway). It is a nootropic, rather than an amphetamine or standard stimulant. The current state of science is that it’s not fully understood how it works.

But tiredness is gone. For me personally, it brings a sharp and clear comprehension, much like a non-caffeine user using a large coffee, except the result is larger and there’s no jitteriness or agitation.

It’s particularly helpful when I’m trying to do something that is somewhat dull but could use a dose of superior creativity, like writing sales materials for a traditional industry where it’s hard to get a great copy and very good points. I especially like to do branding, positioning, and putting the finishing touches on products and services on modafinil. Integrating creativity into logical thinking (which have some opposition naturally) will be simpler on it. So is synthesizing new information, like when I am reading Ogilvy On Advertising and trying to implement some ideas from that.

I write much better cold emails on modafinil to meet people. I seem to put a better sense of connecting with people, their interests, and accomplishing goals together in the same time on it. The response rate is a lot higher although I can dash it off quite fast without assembling the email at all.

I can too easily focus on a single call or activity and deconstruct and think it through for what seems like a short time but is really very long.

I find it is not so great for solo research, but can good for researching with someone else that”brings things back around and keeps them on track.”

I am far less likely to”put stuff off” or”program it” on modafinil — it’s like, “Why are not we doing it right now?” Though I try to leave very rote, repeatable tasks that don’t require creativity for other days because I do not take the stuff daily.

I work much faster — this guide is already at 1500 words. I have been thinking about this article for a week, outlined it in 20 minutes, and I’m now 30 minutes into writing it. I do not normally write that quickly, not at all.

You know, the sort where you know you know the answer, and it’s right there in your face, but you can not really get it? Lately, rather than beating my head against the wall, I take some final notes on problems like this and leave it for when I take modafinil.

I’ve got more energy in general, and a general better sense of well-being. I am more optimistic about it by a little bit. Surprisingly, I look less impatient (there’s a light fleeting sense of,”I shouldn’t be wasting this time…” if I am in high-creative mode on modafinil and doing something rote, but not much aggravation or unhappiness with it.)

As a caveat, however, I have had bad experiences when taking modafinil in a, particularly bad mood. If I was ruminating and with a particularly bad day, taking modafinil made me get deeper into the rut and accomplish nothing. Eventually, on those days I’d wind up doing the 10-hours-of-online-chess issue to just block the ruminating. So it’s not a cure-all, it is a good boost for moods ranging from”slightly below average” up to”excellent,” but not a good solution for especially bad days.

My Routine Modafinil For Effectiveness

I’d hit-or-miss adventures with modafinil until I constructed a regular around it. To begin with, my regular routine.

My normal routine includes a diet heavy in protein, moderate in fat, and almost no carbohydrates. In the morning, I take 1600mg of Piracetam along with Vitamin C, fish oil, calcium, collagen, glucosamine, and hyaluronic acid. In the wintertime or if not getting much sun, I include Vitamin D. I also have a way lot of caffeine, I’ve been scaling back from 6-7 coffees/teas per day to 3-5. I’m contented with the majority of those lifestyle choices, except the caffeine which is a just simple addiction that I haven’t been willing to go through the withdrawal effects to break yet. I’ll usually do this if I am sleep deprived and need to sleep 10+ hours to recover, but I never take melatonin around the very same timeframes I am taking modafinil — if endurance construction or dependency effects are coming on, I want to know it and not accidentally have it covered up.

I lift weights 2-4 times per week and typically go for a 2-4 hour walk once or twice weekly, along with a fantastic amount of walking blended into my lifestyle.

Warning: Speculation follows. Check with doctors, nutritionists, do your own research. This is my speculating based on my experience, with a sample size of one.

Out of everything I take to supplement, Vitamin C, fish oil, calcium, and collagen are pretty standard supplements for healthy people. I doubt Vitamin C, calcium, or collagen has a lot of an interaction with modafinil. Fish oil might have some impact and relevance to the discussion since it will promote good moods and reduce inflammation, both of which are relevant. I take hyaluronic acid and glucosamine for some soft tissue damage I had, which definitely helped recovery and healing, and appears to have minimal impact on the mental state.

Piracetam probably has the biggest interaction with Modafinil. Piracetam is another nootropic, which has some qualities of a stimulant and generally appears to improve my working memory, capacity for thought, and difficulty. Piracetam was first synthesized in 1964 and there were people on the constant use of it since then, and it seems to be rather safe. I suspect that modafinil has a higher effectiveness and a faster effectiveness when combined with Piracetam.

I also consume a substantial quantity of caffeine, but I do not have a baseline before-and-after — I have been taking caffeine the entire time that I take modafinil, so I can not comment. There might be some type of interaction there, or may not.

So, my initial experiences with modafinil were mixed. Some wonderful ones, some bad ones.

I eat some mild protein, usually a few eggs or a pack of nuts. I then make sure I go to the gym in the next hour or two. I will not take modafinil anymore without doing extreme physical exercise.

That’s the most important thing for consistent good feelings and production on modafinil — the post-workout hormones with dopamine, etc, seem to dull the pain from injuries and potential headache, make me relax a bit more (which helps me knock off the task-switching that can ruin productivity).

I try to get a couple problems I’d like to work out on already laid out so that I can just dive in. It’s best if they are organized in this way that there is no desire to change between them. As an example, perhaps I have three pieces of writing I’d love to do — I’ll only work on one of them, in that situation. Having problems that are associated (a sales campaign and a marketing campaign that have lots of feedback between them) is particularly problematic since I’ll get ideas for both of them that are worth capturing, but it’ll take me out of the extreme flow.

I try not to have any appointments scheduled.

After the gym, I eat the salad and drink a huge pitcher of ice water. Probably 30 minutes after that, I force myself to eat another plate of chicken or a pack of nuts (I don’t need to), and order a coffee. While I’m eating, I am quite open to doing random things. I’ll skim my list of projects and campaigns, go through my email, listen to audiobooks or music, read a little, or whatever. Right after the gym, I’m kind of in a blissful mood and not quite ready to put down my head, so I just enjoy it and take in some great inputs.

Approximately 30 minutes after the gym (3-4 hours after taking morning supplements, 1.5-3.5 hours after taking modafinil) I hit the maximum portion of my creative stride. I try to be solo at this time and work on hard problems I couldn’t normally solve. It’s a terrific time for writing, particularly, and all sorts of other abstract problem-solving.

This time will operate for a couple hours, and around hours 5-8 I like to start working on something collaborative with someone. Early in the supplement/modafinil/gym/food cycle, thoughts and production come too fast and I want to just channel it and stay in a flow state. It’s good for collaborating.

My experiences are with 200mg doses of Modalert from MyModafinil, which is a generic version that costs around $2 per dose and is produced in India. It’s lightly controlled in the united states, so you do your own research and get a prescription if you are interested in it. I’ve had great experiences with MyModafinil.

For further reading, Gwern’s article on Modafinil is very scientific.

Dave Asprey in Bulletproof Exec is a big fan, as described in, “Why You Suffer from a Modafinil Deficiency.” I wouldn’t say the edge from it is quite that big as Asprey describes it, but yes, it’s definitely possible to do things creatively on it which aren’t off of it.

Daniel Tenner’s”Modafinil and Startups” is insightful — he used it to combat sleep deprivation, so that’s where you can find a take on that. The Hacker News discussion on Tenner’s piece is good too.

“My experimentation with smart drugs” by Johann Hari is also insightful, in addition to the HN discussion for it.

Just a Couple of Recommendations

Mostly, I am not making recommendations — just sharing my experience. However, I do have a couple of.

1. Research thoroughly in the event you get into any new medicinal or pharmaceutical routine. It’s only a smart practice. I’ll try to write an article sometime in the next week about how I evaluate pharmaceuticals/addictiveness, but you should definitely be familiar with doses, tolerance-building, withdrawal effects, contraindication, and medicinal interactions/reactions. It is your life and health, so it is well worth spending the time to learn.

2. Try to speak with a few people directly who have employed whatever you’re considering. The internet makes this really easy, there’s no really good reason not to.

3. Find a good health professional with a similar philosophy to you that knows your objectives, and get expert advice. The right professional can do wonders for helping you make good decisions and avoid bad decisions.

4. On a personal note, I’d recommend Piracetam as a better starting point than Modafinil for someone who has never completed nootropics… it’s just not as much hardcore whatsoever. It does not lead to such enormous gains, but it has a lower half-life, fewer side effects, and overall doesn’t change your daily life and life as much as Modafinil.

Be sure that you bookmark or subscribe via RSS — sometime within the next week I will cover evaluating addictiveness, side effects, etc., of pharmaceuticals. It’ll be quite relevant if it’s a topic you’re interested in, so stick around.

A College Student’s Modafinil Experience

Instead of feeling “in the zone”, I would just do work and then I realize that I have just spent the last 2-3 hours working rather than doing random stuff. Like, I feel with Modafinil; you have the identical personality and the energy, I get more work done. I found myself staying on task more and checking Facebook/social media/e-mail a lot less when on Modafinil.

Without Modafinil, I’m ready for a nap by 2-3 pm or else I won’t get anything done. But with Modafinil, I could work directly through. Modafinil’s effects are nuanced. You don’t “feel” the effects the same way you feel if you took a stimulant. It is more of a wakefulness and alertness. You may be a bit more attentive to things and are aware. I am always trying to find new ways to improve myself one way or another. When using the expression nootropic to describe Modafinil may be disagreed upon by some nootropics community, I am not really here to discuss semantics and terminology.

I want this post for a summary of my adventures so it might help. If you’re a little bit sleep deprived (like having 5 hours rather than your regular 7 hours of sleep), it will wake you up and you will feel like you didn’t skip a beat. It will keep you on task, if you are working on something. For those who have a long day ahead of you, it will keep you functioning without feeling fatigued.

My baseline heart rate is in the low 60s. When I’m on Modafinil, I would regularly find my resting heart rate in the 70s range. And while although it is more than my heart rate, it’s less than my heart rate. Now if you’ve come here looking for information regarding Modafinil, chances are you’ve heard many stories about it, which range from raising your IQ points by double digits to it being the specific pill from Limitless. However, the reality its effects far more timid. The medication does a great job of promoting wakefulness and keeping fatigue. Additionally, it raises many higher-order executive functions, including attention and working memory.

When you haven’t heard about Modafinil

Modafinil does make your urine smell somewhat distinct. It is a distinct smell, although I don’t need to say it’s a smell that is bad. If I urinate in a bathroom, I can not really smell it but I can definitely smell it if I urinate in a urinal. What It’s Suppose to Do At the end of the day, I encounter huge mental crash on Ritalin. The crash is much worse than a caffeine crash in the day. With Modafinil I don’t get that. If I take Modafinil at 7 or 8 in the morning, I still find myself doing work without being fatigued at 6 or 7 in the evening, sometimes even later.

Modafinil is not a stimulant; it does not provide that”edge” feeling that stimulants like caffeine, Ritalin, or Adderall does. With Modafinil, you don’t get that feeling. It’s more subtle when you want to get work done but it’s still effective. It makes me forget to drink water, although it did not make my mouth dry the manner Ritalin did.

Positives of Modafinil Modafinil is marketed as a prescription medication in the United States to treat shift work disorder, narcolepsy, and sleep disorders. Because there were a couple of instances of acute skin reactions it was approved for treatment of ADHD but did not pass the trial period. It is being used by many individuals as an enhancement, though prescribed as a prescription medication for sleep disorders. So the increase in my heart rate is indicative of some kind of activity, but not nearly coffee’s stimulant reaction. The drug doesn’t make you jittery like caffeine or other stimulants. It’s a wakefulness.

Before going any farther, I want to mention that Modafinil is a prescription drug and with any medicines, you ought to definitely consult a physician before taking it.

This post is not meant to be medical advice in any way, shape, or form. This article is written to describe my experience.

Modafinil: my experience with the real-life Limitless-drug

What if there was a pill which would enable you to see things better, concentrate and thereby increase productivity?

Most of us have seen the film, Limitless with Bradley Cooper at the lead, where he goes from being a gloomy writer with chronic writers block into a wonder child of enormous proportions where he writes books in four days, learn a few new languages in a couple weeks and restrain the stock market by implementing advanced pattern recognition. Beautiful girls line up to receive his attention and famous businessmen suddenly want to work together with him. Simply speaking, the Limitless-drug — together with the formal and by the way literary title NZT-48 — presents Eddie Morra using a new and radically enhanced lifestyle.

The concept of a drug, for example, NZT has since 2011, when the film premiered, made a mainstream fascination among the masses, which has sent the demand for smart medications through the roof. The only real problem, though, is that no smart drugs with the similar effect for example NZT exist.

Or what?

What is Modafinil?

You probably have already heard about Modafinil. Or maybe you have not. In any event, I will inform you.

Modafinil is made as a medical assistant for people who suffer from narcolepsy. Should you are afflicted with narcolepsy you suffer from the inability to remain awake throughout the day without abruptly fall asleep.

Perhaps you remember the scene from this horrible, but also a funny movie, Deuce Bigalow, in which Rob Schneider is a male gigolo who at one stage takes out this woman who falls asleep at very inconvenient times.

Perhaps you’ve already figured out that Modafinil has an invigorating effect that ensures narcoleptics may have a marginally functional and normal everyday life. But what if you don’t suffer from narcolepsy, but nevertheless take Modafinil? This query has some folks at some stage requested themselves, which obviously resulted in an experiment.

The result of the experiment was that Modafinil has a number of benefits with an overall conclusion being that you simply turn into a better and upgraded version of your self. The advantages include improved cognitive function, increased focus, higher motivation, increase in productivity and usually high quality of life.

This, clearly, has caused a widespread and ever-increasing popularity amongst the general population. Modafinil is not an unknown drug on a worldwide scale. Founded in the USA, it’s estimated that more than 20 percent of pupils have experimented with Modafinil, which is why it is most likely safe to state that a high number of students are using Modafinil as a continuous help in scoring a top GPA.

Modafinil has really existed since the late 70’s, that is the reason we have a substantial track record that makes it somewhat legitimate, although not conclusive, to state that this drug doesn’t hold possible unwanted side effects in the long run. The reality is that Modafinil is hardly associated with any side effects in any way. The only common side effect is a headache, which can be comparatively infrequent (around 11% encounter it).

In many ways, Modafinil seems too good to be true. However, I needed to immerse myself and thoroughly research this drug, because what if this is actually legit?

My Normal disbelief surrounding Modafinil
I consider myself a reasonable person capable of making decisions based on a rational foundation.

The first time I became familiar with Modafinil was once I read an article on, at which Dave Asprey, who is the man behind the site in addition to his hugely popular Bulletproof podcast, clarifies how this smart drug is capable of enhancing performance. Since Dave Asprey has a pretty good name (though many dislike him), it was not difficult to take Modafinil serious immediately. What Dave Asprey has become renowned for is sharing his own experiences and knowledge about how the body and mind can be hacked. These experiences come out of years of tests and experiments on Dave’s body. As an example, Dave Asprey has employed Modafinil for at least 9 decades and still use it sometimes although he states that he doesn’t want it more.

In this meeting, Dave Asprey explains how Modafinil has improved his life. The meeting also sheds light onto Modafinil from an overall perspective and who all the people, that use Modafinil, are. In the movie they say Provigil, but it is exactly the same as Modafinil.

Based on Dave Asprey’s individual experience I, naturally, began researching Modafinil from different reliable sources so as to acquire a searchable outlook. Who says bad things about Modafinil? What scientifically proven facts do we have? What are people’s overall experiences with Modafinil? To be able to attempt Modafinil myself, I needed to find answers to all these questions.

I found that Modafinil generally was associated with good things. Especially on Reddit, I have found many personal experiences, where some folks go so far as saying Modafinil spared their lives. Also in relation to what has been scientifically proven there actually are not posts or tests that cement neither physical or psychological risks. The sole conclusion neurologists and other experts in the area have begun to be that we do not understand what the effect of prolonged usage is.

Of course, it’s frightening to risk long-term negative effects as a result of Modafinil, but like many things, in life, you create a calculated choice. At least that was my conclusion which subsequently led to placing money on a bag of pills. Truth is that we take many dangers on a daily basis. We don’t know for sure if negative consequences are associated with long-term usage of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and much like everyday radiation. New products with ingredients we sometimes don’t know much about. We can even discuss alcohol and cigarettes, which, as most people know, are documented to literally kill countless people each year and yet we keep drinking alcohol every weekend if not every day. A lot of us are even prone to have a cigarette in the hand when pouring the beer down the hatch.

Life is one big risk and that’s why it isn’t crazy running a threat with Modafinil. It’s also important to keep in mind that sometimes the upside can be equally as good as the drawback.

Why experiment with Modafinil?
As it is interesting to check the mind. To challenge it and determine what impact it has. Of course, that does not imply that I put my mind to every evaluation”because it may be interesting”. Before I leap into medication such as Modafinil, but also another medication (not that I test that many drugs) I make sure to do my homework properly. I read everything worth reading and even examine the components of the given drug.

It is also about maintaining an open mind. I’ve talked about Modafinil with several people who got difficulty inquiring what the hell I had been thinking and if I was mentally retarded, whereto I typically reply”not yet”.

So far my experiments have turned out nicely. I believe it’s a shame to reject what you have not looked into having an open mind. Not that we have to discuss all kinds of drugs, but when we choose magic mushrooms as an example, it is amusing how many people have strong opinions with a desire to speak in negative terms without having any knowledge, scientific comprehension or expertise. That is also the main reason why the arguments usually don’t amount more than”it’s only drug addicts and helpless individuals who do those kinds of drugs”.

If we will discuss drugs I think that it’s fair to expect a minimal amount of knowledge.

My experience with Modafinil after two months of constant use
There’s no doubt that Modafinil has a pretty good reputation, but that’s my personal experience with this particular alleged Limitless-drug? Has it really acted like brain steroids?

Once more, I’d like to make certain that I am a man of critical and organic skepticism about most things within life such as Modafinil, which is why I wish to draw you a real image of Modafinil that is not untrue.

First time I tried Modafinil

Around the 7th or 8th of January 2016, I received my very first batch of Modafinil. Wrapped in bubble transparency within an envelope it had, to my surprise, made it through my narrow letterbox, ready to be opened.

As I received the batch around the day I needed to wait for the following day to attempt it. This was because Modafinil functions as a wakefulness-promoting agent which makes it very difficult to fall asleep at your standard bedtime when required after 9 am, as the half-life is about 15 hours. Obviously, I knew this already due to my extensive research and preparation.

I begin with half a tablet…

Next to my bed, I have prepared a jar of water and one of these, hopefully, magical pills. That is it. My Modafinil virginity is about to be taken.

The very first time you attempt Modafinil it is a good idea to find the effect of half a dosage, which by the way is a lot for most people. At least this was my approach.

Within 15 minutes I start feeling the consequence…

The excitement has been too good though, which explains the reason why I, of course, could not fall asleep, and it wasn’t more than 15 minutes which went by before I could sense something.

It was a bizarre sensation but in a great way. To start with, I didn’t know exactly how so. As we all know most things that are tried for the first time have a more powerful impact, but Modafinil was on no account overwhelming, but pleasant and subtle, which can be among the stated advantages of the medication. There was not any sense of euphoria, but a perfect combination of calmness and clearness.

All the typical distractions such as Facebook, online tabloids, iPhone notifications and so on were annihilated. By brain solely wished to concentrate on important tasks. For my part, the vital tasks were writing a shitload of posts. After 45 minutes of work on the notebook in bed, then I needed to switch over to my workstation.

I take another half of this pill…

Even though the result was highly noticeable in the kind of me blasting away on the computer keyboard, I couldn’t resist taking another half. This is typically me and the way I am, but I desired to experience the full effect. That’s just the way I am. Anyhow, by adding the other half of Modafinil the result seemed complete. It was overpowering in a liberating way as it felt as though I was finally treated by this endless spell of procrastination and dedication to damaging distractions.

100% tunnel vision…

With the Modafinil working as expected for it was just about work and important tasks. This was the one thing I could focus on and on a level in which I felt a feeling of angriness when people messaged me on Facebook. Of course, I didn’t have some distracting windows open in my pc, however, iPhone was turned off, but after ten minutes, I put it on flight mode. From that point, it had been the 100% tunnel vision I had expected.

No anxiety or uncontrollable ideas…

One of my biggest problems is that I find it difficult to concentrate on a single task at a time. I have no problem working relatively effective, but I have a terrible habit of multi-tasking and that, I am not capable of. I am able to sit and write a guide and suddenly think about an e-mail I hadn’t addressed. I then start writing the e-mail until a surprising new idea for the report distracts me, and today I’m doing a keyword analysis. And this circle infrequently ends. It’s incredibly destructive like I don’t properly immerse myself into the important undertaking. On Modafinil I have zero problems with adhering to one task.

I don’t feel particularly more intelligent, but…

I felt my intelligence had fewer bounds in the form of distractions, and in a sense made me feel sharper. It makes it easier to join the dots.

Nine hours later…

From around 7.30 am to 5 pm I was working like a perfectly oiled machine. I didn’t really take any breaks. The output signal was four comparatively long posts and a shitload of other work. Simply speaking, it had been a very satisfactory workday, but I was not done. The tank was still what felt like full. I opted to take a break though, but this break happened in the fitness center. This was the first gym session because three weeks and my body had barely digested the disgusting quantity of food and drinks I’d eaten and consumed during Christmas and New Years Eve, yet it was no obstacle to pack my training clothing and get to it.

I jumped on the treadmill and ran close to five miles at a rate of 8–9 mph, which was fairly good considering three weeks using an intolerable unhealthy lifestyle. It went easily however. Additionally, I was able to throw around with a few weights and after about 90 minutes of full-scale exercise, I believed that my body had had enough.

I hadn’t eaten anything…

After 12 hours my belly was empty, as I hadn’t eaten anything. I just wasn’t hungry. This is a side effect, as some might call it, that Modafinil is known for, and that’s why Modafinil also is related to weight loss. Of course, it is not healthy not ingesting anything, but on the flip side, nothing bad comes from flaxseed just one or even two days. Regardless of my non-existent appetite, I decided to eat a (slightly healthy) sandwich.

Obviously, I had been very satisfied with the impact of the pill. At the current time of day, I could feel that the effect was just taking off, but that I had the capability for more work done. I worked until midnight, that was equivalent to another four hours of work before I pushed myself into bed. And here I must put emphasis on force, as it wasn’t easy to sleep, but hopeless. I managed to fall asleep after about 45 minutes.

My subsequent interaction with Modafinil

After a day of Modafinil, as I just explained, there wasn’t any doubt in my mind I need to experiment further with this narcolepsy medication. This was also the plan from the beginning.

On my second day with Modafinil the result was again highly noticeable although less as the first day. I didn’t anticipate it to be so. It is important to note that the effect of Modafinil correlates with your overall mood. This means that in the event you have a really good evening, then Modafinil works really well. On the other hand, if you have a shitty day, and yes it is possible even on Modafinil, then the result is decreased.

After 14 days of Modafinil it had been an amazing trip looking back on the overall work output. Generally, I felt my mood had improved, that had been a favorable side effect I hadn’t expected although increased productivity is linked to a greater degree of overall satisfaction with life.

With Modafinil my work output has doubled, where this screenshot illustrates how the amount of monthly written voice has gone from ~16.000 to ~35.000. That’s pretty heroic in my view.

What other consequences has Modafinil had on me?

Scientific study has indicated that Modafinil has possible effects besides increased endurance and motivation. Modafinil has shown itself helpful in treating ADD and normally mental disorders such as addictions, depersonalization, and bronchial disorders, but also, as stated previously, weight loss.

The reason why Modafinil has proved effective in treating the above mentioned conditions is the attributes of the medication improve cognitive abilities. Modafinil simply helps to create new connections in mind that increase awareness and the ability to solve problems rationally.

In this aspect, I feel that Modafinil has had a positive impact on me. Concerning all my ambitions and goals in life, I’m quite conscious of what I need to focus on, and that is where Modafinil has let me in keeping and sharpening this focus.

Let me give you a few examples.

Less need for fun and games

In the course of the past few months, my appetite for seeing shows and new movies have hit an all-time low but I used to see a couple of hours of The Office US or whatever before falling asleep. Not anymore. Rather, I visit important programs, typically on YouTube, from which, I will learn something.

Additionally, I have noticed that the need for moving out/binge drinking, eating at delicious fine dining restaurants and normally things within the confines of the good life has nearly vanished. In a way, it is terrifying, as I feel overly focused on being productive and on level with reaching my goals. I do, but make a conscious attempt of devoting myself after a week in addition to maintaining social competences by hanging out with buddies. If life is taken overly seriously and you dig yourself too deep into a job it may be true that progress will be rapid, but in my estimation, it is important not to distance yourself from the best of what life has to offer you. In short, I force myself to observe, when a celebration is in order.

I really don’t, however, believe that Modafinil is your sole reason for this as I also meditate on a daily basis. Meditation was of great value to me during the past half year, where my mental strength has improved noticeably.

The combination of meditation and Modafinil seems to have a much greater effect compared to my ability to control emotions before being on Modafinil. For example, I find it easier to handle failure, rejection, the chilly winter months and the cold weather (it could be rough in Denmark). The simple fact that I’m not knocked out by these things used to fuck up me badly has, of course, made my life simpler as I accept and recognize lousy days making the good days even better.

Ordinarily, I can’t describe the impact of Modafinil any greater compared to another user who stated:

I am inquisitive, I’ll dig and I will write great things. It’s let me see links I wouldn’t have seen before. Is it because I’m more alert? Or some triggered level of understanding unavailable without a lot of sleep and nourishment? Without it, I am still good, but it is a bandwidth expander. It lets you step back and learn things. The result does not go away when the compound leaves blood. The relations it provides you stay with you. It helps me have a rational rather than emotional reaction to irritants.

The previous two paragraphs are essential to recall.

“The connections it provides you remain with you. It will help me have a rational rather than emotional response to irritants.”

Although I, for instance, have not taken Modafinil for three or four days I sense a high level of mental focus. My theory is that it is the end result of many weeks of intense focus that has created new brain connections and shaped a stronger habit of focusing. Additionally, this is one of the reasons why I meditate. Applying repetition is the only way to rewire your mind and form new healthful habits.

Does Modafinil have any unwanted side effects? There have to be unwanted side effects of some types, right? Just like most things within existence, there are of course possible unwanted side effects. In very rare cases Modafinil can activate the skin disease Steven-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), but the majority of folks who are at risk are already aware of it as ordinary drugs such as Ibuprofen and specific antibiotics also can trigger SJS.

On the grounds of 2 months of constant use, it is difficult for me to find any unwanted side effects but there’s one. The one negative side effect of Modafinil I have seen is that I find it easier to become annoyed/irritated by people who, in my opinion, do not make a great deal of sense. The increased irritability however only applies to the section of people. This state of increased irritability can be rarely triggered as it is during working hours which I’m hooked on Modafinil and given my job as a writer on my own, I only deal with few people on a daily basis. Even though it is a negative side effect I am not sure this is a common side effect for those on Modafinil. As a personal trait I have always found it easy to be extra annoyed with confident people who are of limited intellect, therefore Modafinil has only sort of boosted this trait.

There’s actually also another matter about Modafinil which I would describe as unwanted. The level of focus that you experience on Modafinil isn’t always as desirable. By way of instance, if you are hung-over and attempt to find some work one that I find that Modafinil will improve focus on intangible things. It is sometimes a distant notion that’s of no significance or significance and something you might be unable to place a finger on. This is where I’ve experienced that my ideas may go in circles without me having the ability to focus on work. To some, it may not be that pleasant, but it is not any worse than postponing work for a few hours or a day.

The fact alone that Modafinil doesn’t have enormous negative side effects is a bit frightening. If you choose stimulants like caffeine, Ritalin, Adderall there are a wide variety of side effects which problematize constant consumption. Negative effects like stress, palpitation, dizziness, aggressiveness, anxiety, confusion and numbness are just some of them.

So how come you can find none of those side effects? It’s a challenging question and definitely the largest drawback of Modafinil that we do not have some concise knowledge about how it affects the brain on a long-term foundation.

It’s extremely hard to get a free lunch using biochemical enhancement, but that does not prevent me from playing around with it, but I understand there is a price that comes with it and you need to be ready to cover the debt.

Is Modafinil something for you personally?

It’s difficult not to be fascinated by Modafinil and its related results. So fascinated that a lot people wish to give it a shot. Before you start experimenting it is crucial, though, to ask yourself if Modafinil is really something you need at all? Everybody doesn’t necessarily have to do smart drugs simply because they could.

The reason I use the magical things is I have a tremendous amount of work that has to be done every single day. Work there, in theory, is endless of, as I will write as many articles as I desire. In addition, I have goals and subgoals that have to be done, and that is why it makes sense for me to use Modafinil.

On the other hand, an individual can argue that the jobless person collecting a monthly well-fair check also could gain from Modafinil, as it might inspire the person to find work. In the end, you are the person who knows best if it’s for you, even if it’s just for one evaluation.

(UPDATE: September 2018 – I have received a ton of messages from people asking exactly how to Receive their hands on Modafinil, which is why I have now answered that question here for all)

For me personally, has been a reliable provider of Modafinil for the previous 3 years
BuyModa takes Bitcoins which are easy to get.
In case you have not got Bitcoins, I suggest registering on Coinbase, which I’ve great experience with.
BuyModa Doesn’t send direct to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Taiwan, Croatia, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Romania, Spain, South Africa or the United Arab Emirates.

Fortunately this shipping issue can be solved by using Skypax, which I have used every single time since Holland is one of those nations where direct shipping is not possible.

But is Modafinil even legal? Modafinil is in no way a medication that the government are on the hunt for, as it does not possess a euphoric or intense mind-altering effect. Therefore you won’t be criminalized if caught with ten pills in your pocket in an airport without a legitimate prescription. I brought it in and out of the UAE not so long past. I bring it with me without even giving it some thought.

But prescription medicine is tough to get ahold of so what to do? As a result of the net and it has liberating tools there are lots of online pharmacies that sell Modafinil. It might not sound especially reassuring and that’s as it isn’t. There’s a shitload of scammers on the market, but with just a little bit of qualified research, it is pretty doable to find a legit online pharmacy.

My own research led me to different trustworthy sellers, but Afinil Express was is my number 1 go-to vendor. They’ve a good reputation on Reddit plus they offer 100% guaranteed shipping so if your package is lost or captured they are going to only send you a new one.

Suffice to say everything went easily from purchasing my 300 pills to delivery. An individual could assert that 300 are a lot of pills, but me being me I had to go all-in. It was cheaper to purchase in bulk. I paid $294 USD, which can be around 50% off compared to purchasing 50 pills for $85. (At the time)

All four have close to equal contents, but every with their own unique feature. Artvigil, also referred to as Armodafinil, is said to give a more powerful buzz than Modalert, but I have only tried Modalert, which explains why I can’t comment on whether this claim is accurate. In addition, it is said that it’s a good idea to switch between i.e. Armodafinil and Modalert so as to prevent a high tolerance. It is impossible not to build up some amount of tolerance, which is why it’s almost always a good idea to take a break from Modafinil every once in a while. After two weeks of nearly daily use, I do not seem to have built any tolerance though. Additionally, I never take over 200 mg a day.

My personal recommendation is that you stick with Modalert 200 since it is the pill that this attest you are studying relies on. If you select one of the other pills or have experience with them, I would love to hear from you.

My conclusion
For me, Modafinil seems to have the possibility of altering one’s life for the better. At least that is my own instant conclusion. You also don’t have to look hard on the web to discover various personal accounts that promote Modafinil as a genuine life-changer and maybe even lifesaver.

Though I cannot attribute All my personal growth and success to Modafinil, it has definitely helped me get to where I am today, where I still find the energy and persistence to Keep my internet lifestyle magazine as well as my YouTube channel

On the last note, I will, obviously, like to put emphasis on the fact that in the event that you choose to experiment with Modafinil it’s your own responsibility. I really don’t encourage you to purchase Modafinil even though this fairly extensive report may indicate otherwise. I’m just sharing my own experience. My personal opinion, though, is that it might be a pity to provide Modafinil a pass if it could have a life-improving impact.

Modafinil – A Safer Drug To Boost Brain Power?

It’s been demonstrated in some studies to boost attention and memory in healthy people.

Side effects are yet another important consideration. Modafinil has been demonstrated to cause sleeplessness, headache, and stomachache in some cases. Even though such problems could possibly be well worth enduring for a medication that treats a disease,” in case you do not have a health condition, the risks versus gains change radically,” states Sharon Morein-Zamir, a psychologist at the University of Cambridge who studies ethical concerns related to the usage of cognition-enhancing drugs. “For many, the advantages will probably outweigh risks, at least a few of the time,” she states, whereas”to many others, this might not be the situation.” A pill you choose to ace a test, for example, will not do you much good if it also causes a grueling stomachache.

It became famous for ADHD from the 1990s. Much like amphetamine, it may improve memory and attention for all those who have ADHD, but it’s also used off-label for a research and work assist. Some people develop a tolerance to Ritalin with time.

Caffeine: Among the earliest and most well-known stimulants. People recognized caffeine stimulant properties hundreds (possibly thousands) of years back. It may improve alertness and focus nevertheless, effects are short-lived, and endurance builds up fast.

Modafinil, that has been prescribed at the U.S. as 1998 to take care of sleep-related conditions such as narcolepsy and sleep apnea and heightens alertness considerably as caffeine does. Lots of studies have indicated that it might offer additional cognitive advantages, but results were irregular. In their opinion, that was published annually at European Neuropsychopharmacology, they revealed that the approaches used to rate modafinil strongly affected the results. Research that seemed at the medication’s effects on the operation of simple actions –for example pressing a specific button after viewing a specific color–didn’t discover many added benefits.
Nevertheless studies that asked participants to perform complicated and difficult activities after taking modafinil or a placebo found that people who took the drugs were far more precise, which suggests it might influence”higher cognitive capabilities –mainly executive acts but also learning and attention,” explains study co-author Ruairidh Battleday, currently a physician and Ph.D. student in the University of California, Berkeley.

Modafinil: Initially utilized in the treatment of narcolepsy. Additionally, it may enhance cognitive functioning, particularly when completing tasks that are difficult.

Research indicates that cognition-enhancing medications supply the best performance increase among people with low-to-average brains. These findings led University of Oxford investigators to suggest at a 2014 newspaper that when these medications were given to folks who need them, lots of ethical concerns regarding the drugs’ use could be relieved, and they may even decrease opportunity inequality.

People have been looking for ways to improve their brainpower possibly for a lot of history. Before century, scientific attempts have shown a couple of promising compounds, but just modafinil has passed rigorous evaluations of cognitive improvement.

It seems just like a Hollywood movie plot, but a brand new systematic review suggests that the decades-long look for a safe and powerful”smart drug” (see under ) could have notched its original achievement. Scientists have discovered that modafinil boosts higher-order cognitive functioning without causing severe side effects.

Should Everyone Require Cognition-Enhancing Drugs?

But do not rush to the pharmacy only yet. Though a lot of physicians very probably prescribe the medication off-label to assist people focus –really, a 2008 poll from the Journal de Nature discovered that one in five of its subscribers had ingested brain-boosting medications, and half these individuals had utilized modafinil–trials haven’t yet been completed modafinil’s long-term effectiveness or security. Studies of this medication have been “completed at a controlled scientific surrounding and generally, simply looked at the effects of one dose,” clarifies Oxford neuropsychologist and examination co-author Anna-Katharine Brem–hence nobody yet knows for sure whether it’s entirely safe for long-term usage in healthy men and women. Nor can it be known whether modafinil may lose its advantage with repeated usage, a phenomenon familiar to a lot of coffee drinkers.

Can Smart Drug Modafinil make you smarter and focused?

One writer from the UK, David Adams, says Modafinil can absolutely make you smarter.

Across college campuses worldwide, students are turning to smart drugs like Modafinil in record numbers. The increase in popularity of nootropic smart drugs has been increasing every year.

In the UK, it is estimated that approximately 25% of university students take Modafinil, or a similar smart drug to help keep them focused, alert and awake for their intense studies.

It has been noted by college student bloggers that the effects of Modafinil are supposed to help one focus intently on a certain subject, see things with more clarity, speed up reaction times and keep the user more alert and awake allowing them to make the most of their super-focused states.

The British author who decided to see what the buzz was all about, David Adams, took 200mg of Modafinil (particularly the generic brand from India, Modalert 200). He documented his first experienced with the smart drug.

Modafinil 200 by Sun Pharma cheap

He said he had expected the Modafinil to kick in within 20 minutes like most medicines, but he waited about 2 hours until he started feeling the effects of the tiny white nootropic.

His initial feelings he felt were practically indescribable, with Adams only saying that the Modafinil left him feeling ‘GOOD’, in CAPITAL letters. So far so good!

He continued that as he sat at his computer, he felt like he wanted to keep typing and never stop. He noted that his motivation to write more was unquenchable and he was very focused on the articles he was then writing.

Adams said his screen felt bigger and after 6 hours of writing, he had no signs of fatigue or slowing down.

Modafinil was first discovered in France, circa 1970 and was initially intended to treat sufferers of sleep disorders such as narcolepsy.

Soon, Modafinil was being prescribed for myriad other ailments such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and myotonic dystrophy. The drug then was used to replace traditional treatments of ADHD (ADD, or attention deficit disorder). Doctors found that Modafinil was not only more effective than the other ADD drugs such as Ritalin and Adderall, but it had almost none of the side effects.

Modafinil became sort of a wonder drug. Various militaries give the nootropic to their soldiers and pilots to keep them awake and focused on their jobs.

Smart drugs like Modafinil are taken like candy in American colleges.

One student, who wishes to remain anonymous, said her first time happened when she was at her university library studying for an exam when a friend told her she should buy a Modafinil pill from a guy on the ground floor of the library. She found the guy and bought the pill for around $3.50. She said she aced the exam and felt like it could have been harder and she still would have aced the test. Before the pill, she was quite wary that she would even pass.

Nowadays, college students studying or taking exams don’t have to find a local to buy the pills. Modafinil is easy to buy online discreetly by paying with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Buy buying their Modafinil online at offshore pharmacies with Bitcoin, there is no central company that can control the transaction, causing a bump in the road. Bitcoin is becoming an increasingly popular way to pay for Modafinil when buying from an online pharmacy.
